GOOD, BUT... I GOOFED, February 27, 2010

This is a great book, beautiful, well-done, lots of great recipes. But I didn't realize it was just a re-branded soft cover version of his hardcover originals, all of which i already own. If you don't have his books, this is a great way to get them a little cheaper; otherwise, except for the cover designs, this series is no different (as far as I can see) from the hardcover originals.

A great family cookbook , easy to follow, easy to prepare and delicious to eat. After many years cooking for a family and using fancy recipes it's a treat to use and so relaxing.

I bought this book purely because my daughter made Jool's Favourite Beef Stew (really scrumptious) and I Couldn't be bothered to write out the recipe. I was so glad I did as there are some other really good recipes featured in this book and I like Jamies's informal style. There seems to be something almost rustic about many of the dishes, which makes such a change these days. Would recommend this book to anyone,
