I gave this to my great-nephew as part of a gift introducing him to "Thomas". Board book is very sturdy although disappointed it only makes one sound! Little boy not concerned though!

The Button wears out after a while- it was given as a gift to someone and they found you couldnt keep batteries in it- plus theres no off switch which would be gr8 around a toddler- and saves on batterys

What I was looking for my 2-year old grandson. Sturdy and colourful, lovely story, with the added sound of a ''train on a track''.

I have read it so often to my 22 month old son that I know the words. Need I say more? At first he was attracted to the sound button, now he points out all the things in the background pictures, which has really improved his vocabulary. Robust board book, just the right length of text for bedtime. Well worth the pennies.
