Ceiling Astronomy, April 13, 2010
A wide selection of sizes and shapes come in each pack - from very small to rather large stars, and there's plenty of each. I used another constellation guide when arranging them on the ceiling as I found the one included was not to my liking (does not inc. Ursa Major etc). Each star is very easy to remove from its sheet and sticks to the ceiling with no problem. When you have completed even just a few groupings the effect is impressive. They are completely invisible on a light cream/white ceiling during the day.

The pack stated there was 700 stickers, but most of these were so small it was difficult to get them off the paper and in the end we just left them and didn't use them. Some of them were not even stars, just tiny dots !! They did not glow for long either.

I remembered these from when I was young (ahem) my friends had them on their ceilings. I put some in my 2 year old's Christmas stocking this year and secretly applied them before bedtime one night. There is something still very magical and charming about them. Hopefully it helps extend his imagination beyond the boundaries like the stars seem to make his ceiling unlimited. I even stuck a few in a book for some glow in the dark reading. They are brilliantly bright after a "charge" from the overhead lights but I'd say that fades in an hour or so. They seem to remove easily without leaving residue (time will tell how that goes) and they go up in a flash. A bit hard for teeny hands to manipulate and stick as they are paper thin and fold easily so the tiny ones can be fiddly but there are LOADS in the pack so a few wrinkled ones was no biggie. Overall a nice bit of inexpensive Christmas sparkle and magic :)

Stars all stick OK to our walls / ceilings. Very good value for money. The only downside I'd say would be the time duration of the glowing (they don't glow for much more than one hour).
