For fans of Max Payne and Stranglehold, you'll have a blast!!! WET is an unashamedly old fashioned shooter that is incredibly over the top, as your character leaps tall buildings and dispatches bad guys with two pistols and a huge sword, and made up to look like a grindhouse picture. True there are better FPS's out there and there are better graphics, but it plays really well and its easy to get to grips with and it's a game you'll go back to when you have a little free time to kill. The one big negative for me though is the infamous plane level where having leapt from an exploding plane, you have to dodge falling debris and retrieve a parachute. This level takes the word "Frustration" to an entirely new level. In fact, I would have given the game four stars but for this level. Over an hour later and I still can't get past it, how did the developers think this was any good??? In short, WET is limited but great fun.

Sadly this game gets boring very quick, you play an alcoholic kill bill styled woman that runs around in what look like 90's backstreets of tokyo; killing loads of faceless enemies, guzzling down wiskey to replenish health before throwing it in the air to shoot it for the hundredth time. There's the few "oh no i'm trapped and must defeat waves of enemies" sections.. You can dive in slow motion and shoot like max payne or do afew sword attacks. Ah i'm sure bethesda made this, here's a very good piece of advice; DON'T WASTE MONEY ON THIS, BUY BETHESDA'S OTHER AND COMPLETELY AMAZING GAME CALLED OBLIVION.

this is a very different game to the other shooters there is never a dull moment in the whole game and the slow motion element is very fun to play around with. the more exiting kills you get the more points you will get to upgrade your guns and get brand new and exiting ways to kill enemies. there are also loads of very different landscapes for you to explore.as well as this the campaign is of a decent length and the challenge modes are fun to do. the sound track is also a good part of the game as it is 80s themed and interesting.the game has four different types of levels, the run around and slow-mo levels, the shoot from the top of cars whilst jumping from car to car levels,the red and black fast-paced speed levels and the arena style battles. If you are bored with getting the same type of shooters (e.g CODMW2 OR HALO 3) then i would definately recomend this game

A very good well paced game, being not a natural gamer i found rather difficult to even get started, but once into the game, i found the graphics great and interface, and the game playing experience very very good, i am still struggling with the game but that is out of my experience,but great value for money and a pleasure to play
