boring, but maybe it will grow on us, May 8, 2010
Got this as a family film for our 5 and 3 y.o. We have pretty much all the Pixar and Disney stuff, and a few others besides. Current favourites are Dumbo, Mary Poppins and the remake of Lassie - the grown ups in the house were hoping for a change and to watch something to please everyone
The graphics are amazing and some of the early story is great but, alas, it isnt really suitable for our young viewers in the way most other Pixar films are, it is a little too wordy and a little too dull for them - they both got bored
After the kids were in bed we tried to watch it as a grown up film, within an hour we got bored too and turned it off - the last time that happened was with Madonna's Evita ! Maybe this one will grow in time (assuming we manage to eventually watch it all the way through) but right now I wish we had saved £10
Great movie!, May 6, 2010
One of the most moving and well-made movies I've ever watched. The Blu-ray version is a 'must-own' for its 5-star sound and video quality. This Pixar animated movie is 'up' there with the best of them so far.
Best Pixar film so far!, May 5, 2010
A great DVD for both adults and children alike - the best Pixar film so far, great animation and a touching storyline - just brilliant!
Superb film for the whole family, May 4, 2010
We bought this Blu-ray film as we missed it at the Cinema. What a brilliant film this is....and it looks stunning on blu-ray !! The story line is classic Disney / Pixar.....it gets you into the characters within seconds of the start of the film and keeps you with them all the way to the end....it even makes you want to know what happens after the end of the film....that's how good the story and the characters are. This is a stunning film for the whole family, so if you are looking to get a film to sit back and watch on a lazy Sunday afternoon with the kids, then this is perfect !!!
