Identity Safe keeps ALL your login details secure!, May 8, 2010

Norton has definitely come a long way since I last tried it! As stated, it no longer hogs system resources or locks down your whole computer as it used to, which were the two reasons I used to uninstall Norton immediatey if it came bundled with a PC! Now it runs seamlessly without encroaching on other aspects of your PC most of the time, which is great. However I did find it slowed things down a bit whilst doing its first full scan but it could be possible that subsequent scans may be quicker and use less resources? But Norton's built-in Identity Safe is brilliant! Having websites remember your login details to make it easier for you to login without having to type in your username and password each time is a HUGE security risk these days, as hackers are increasingly hacking in to all kinds of accounts at an astonishing rate - even to those you may think are secure! Many people have literally lost thousands of pounds just because they let websites "remember their details" and/or they fail to log out of sites before they close their browsers! So Norton's Identity Safe stores all your login details securely and automatically logs you in when you open the designated webapge/url. But to keep secuity as high as possible, you should still make sure that you LOG OUT manually before exiting any sites that you have to log in to!!!! So for the Identity Safe alone I would thoroughly recommend that everyone give Norton a try again! I do not think you will be disappointed!

i have tried a few (internet security brand names) had a few problems with them. so with some what hesitant i went and bought norton another (brand name) it could never be better for the very first time i have had no problems. it does everthing for you. it checks your pc every day for viruses so your worry free. wish i had bought this first time around.

Really pleased with this. Easy to install and much prefer it to the McAffee I had before. It works quietly in the background without always asking you if you are sure you really want to do whatever or nagging you that you haven't scanned your computer for a while.A real bargain on Amazon and can be used on up to three computers so can be used on your laptop or whatever. A wise buy.
