CUSTOMER REVIEWS Fantastic fossils, May 8, 2010 I bought these fossils for my godson's 7th birthday and they are the best present I've ever given him. He (and his Dad) simply couldn't get over the fact that these were real fossils, not toys. Of course the fossils will vary from set to set, but in this one there was a piece of dinosaur bone and nothing could please a 7-year-old boy more than that! It's not really a toy for fun - more for interest. However, the ammonites were quite small, although we did get quite a few. I would have prefered to have got one larger one. However, Dinosaurs and Fossils Ltd have got a good website that has a good variety of fossils, and also gives rough sizes. I did search around for various fossil sets, and this one looked to be the best value as a started set.
